Banquet at Waycross attended by Lt. Col. Lee Purdom, Chief of Staff and
Asst. G-4 of State Staff, and Lt. Col. J. E. Mathis, 16th Battalion, in center
between flags. The ladies of the 16th Battalion were in full attendance and you can
be sure that the other members present were glad the ladies had been "taken in."
